Dead fury

Well, out for a spin for the first time this year. 1963 Sport Fury. Driving down the road and then nothing . Dead in the water. Pulled over and nothing. Wont turn over or anything. Been so long that I have worked on this car I'm not sure what to check first. It was running fine then just died. Any suggestions where to start?

Well that didn't take long. Thought it may have been the resistor, which was broken, but the ignition wire going to the starter got against the headers and burned in half. At least it isn't serious. Replaced the resistor too. Thanks for reading.
