Looking at my '73 Charger wire schematic it shows individual wires with codes like, J2C-18DBL. I know the 18 is for the wire gage and the DBL is "dark blue" wire color. What do the J, the 2, and the represent?
Letter is the importance of the circuit starting from battery. Number is like the secuence of the circuit since it was spliced into the letter circuit… dunno if you catch it! You can see how the batt wire is A1 for example. At the end is one way to identify the wire along the diagram.
you’ll find some wires also with * which it need color is traced. If gets also a / and some other color id, it means the trace is specifically made on that color.
