Need to put the finishing touches on this '72 SSP project car (local car show this Sunday). One of the last things are the seat belts. I don't plan on using the front seat belt warning system. I just can't remember if the back seat used two or three seat belts. Thank you.

As far as I know and once again, I believe 72 and 73 were same, there are 3 seat belts for the back seat. Middle one is connected to the same bolts as the buckles for the two side seats which have the retractable part on the left and right side of the seat, out of view.

I found the center belt that was stored in a different location than the outboard belts. Now I have all three sets along with a total of four bolts. Here are the numbers on the fabric part of the belts for future reference (they are all black):

2 Retractors (male)
9099 3695984 F1772
2 female units with release button for above male belts
9921 3670648 F1672
center position (male)
9917 3670178 F1672
center position (female with button release)
9918 3679789 F1772

The first four digits I don't know, obviously the next seven digits are the actual part numbers. I suppose the last four digits (i.e. F1772) are some kind of date code being the vehicle was produced in May of 1972.

All 70s Mopars used 3 seatbelt setup on rear bench. And I guess earliers too since they were equipped.
