So I am looking for a buddy seat to put in my 69 Super Bee. Does anybody know for certain what years would be correct? I see some listed as 68-74 being the same and others stating that 68-70 are on their own. Are the seats all the same and maybe the mounts are different on later years?

I have three or four here, all randomly gathered from ‘68 to ‘70 b bodies.
All are identical EXCEPT the ones for a bench seat are completely different; wider with different foam and cover. Otherwise parts are identical and interchangeable.

Curious if you have ever been able to compare the 68-70 ones to a 71-74? Also not sure what you are referring to by mentioning a bench seat along with a buddy.

IIRC, 75 and newer are wider as a whole

C body's have a tapered rest that fills the space between the sharply angled seat backs (also IIRC) it's wider in front when folded down

...and even though 69 seats and 70 seats are different, IIRC the buddy seat is the same

My ‘70 Coronet 500 four door came with a split bench front with a fold down armrest. It resembled two bucket seat backs on a bench base with fold down armrest.

Called Legendary and they confirmed 68-70 buddy seats are the same, but 71 and newer are different.

So, what did they say the differences were?
