I have the need to know how close the dip stick is to the crank in a 426 hemi.

Being that the dipstick tube is in the same location, I would think that it's no different than a 440.

Need to know the distance. I am navigating around tube headers and a conventional stick is too ridged. So I am making one out of ss thin cable. Concerned that if it's too close to the crank it might pull it into the crank.
