I converted my 67 Coronet 500 with a 426 Hemi engine to front disc brakes, and dumped the drums. But I kept getting a spongy pedal every so often. Put car on a rack and found my 73 roadrunner disc were hitting the bottom of the shock absorber. Bought a kit with vented rotors and new calipers. Problem the rotor bracket placed the caliper too close to the shock mount. Life is
Much better now. Apparently the 73 calipers were to large where the brake line attaches to them.
