I’ve got a dealer installed Dixco hood tachometer & it consistently reads about 1000rpm lower than the AutoGage tachometer I also have hooked up. I’m running a MSD box with a MSD “tachometer adapter” box.
How does I calibrate the Dixco hood tachometer to read more accurately? I see replacement electronic boards for tick-tock tachometers, but not for the Dixco hood tachs. Does anyone rebuild/calibrate the hood tachs? Can I adapt the tick-tock-tach board to work inside the Dixco hood tach? Any ideas? I’d like to eliminate the AutoGage tach
