They are pretty cool trucks! I e seen them in orange, red and yellow, black or white stripes ..

I am a Sweptline fan. I have seen a couple in person and would like to own one some day. 383 power everything with ac would be nice.

That's a cool old Dodge, but I think that they accidently added a zero to the price.

think of the price like this,
that truck is like a comparison between a regular coronet and a coronet R/T.
ones a plain jane vanilla ride, the other is a special and desirable vehicle.
same thing goes for this truck,
even a basic shortbed/longbed 70 in vgc will set you back at least 5 grand if not more.

to a dodge truck collector, this truck is a rare beast and well worth buying,
hell,it looks like it could be washed and have the paint buffed back out even.

nice find @Spare Parts, thanks for sharing it.

The fewer the numbers built, the more the numbers in the price. The good, the bad and the ugly, It's like everything.

I just sold this 71 dodge truck. Not a dude but a petty blue 383 A/C. Was picked up by a dodge slideback! If this was a dude truck would have made for a Petty special truck with white stripes!

that truck is like a comparison between a plymouth satellite and a coronet R/T.
I understand what you were trying to convey but a satellite is the highest trim model plymouth made in a B-body.
They had a premium price class so maybe not the best example a belvedere might be a better choice.

Not me but a buddy. He had a Dude Trailer. Ya, he is a Dude. He drinks Old Mill.

yeah i was just looking at that i meant to say reg coronet.
ty for that headsup too lol.

My neighbor across the street in 1970 purchased a plum crazy one with a black interior. Thought that was the coolest truck when I was 15

If anyone is seriously interested I live in the same town & could take a look..

It's been on there for a while
my neighbor went & looked at it a couple of weeks ago
pretty solid (he said) but too much money/asking price
every aspect needs attention, but it's all there 90k mile (?)
"ran when parked" :jackoff:
Darren said; "if it was a short-bed he'd have bought it,
(I told him, they didn't make a short-bed "Dude")
if he could have got it for like $10k-$12k"

IIRC the guy is asking like $15k
from what Darren said he's not moving off that #
I sort of think from what the guy said
he's trying to feel the market out

& IMO you'd think the guy would clean it up
& not just try & do the barn find "market" BS

It's saving grace, at-least it's on a concrete floor, undercover
not 'on dirt' or out in a field exposed
like most of them "barn finds" are
