Does a person with a perfect credit rating exist??

I think 850 is the perfect number, mine varies since I run my material on a credit card and pay it off monthly so no interest, I run it up quite a bit credit goes down then payment is applied then goes up. i run from 810 to 835 is the highest I've ever seen mine.

It's not just payment history and credit liability. It's also based on future credit customers.

The credit bureau's after all are payed by creditors.

I’m close but not 850. Just buying a couple of expensive items in one month on a credit card can tank it 15-25 points for a couple of months, even if you pay up 100% each and every month.

I think my rating is 0. I don't use credit. I do have a credit card but the bank uses my funds to pay it off every month. I get points but never carry a balance

According to Discover I hit 850 around 6 or 7 years ago.
Interestingly, my different credit cards that offer you the option to check your score on their sites show different credit scores for me. Wouldn’t they all be the same, apparently they get their info from different credit bureaus or something?
Since that perfect score I have never hit that mark again, been down briefly into the 790s, but typically fall in the 815-835 range, though Discover said 842 this month.
I paid off my mortgage a year or two before Covid, pay my credit card bills in full every month, and have taken out a few car loans that I pay off within a year or two. Not much ever changes year after year in my boring life, so it’s a mystery why my credit score doesn’t remain pretty much unchanged instead of varying within around a 50 point range.

I use mine for as much as I can and pay it off in full each month - now I get cash back from the interest ...or at least enough each month to save up through the year and make Christmas shopping less painful. My main electrical supplier debits my CC each month with my consent and they give me points also for use on whatever I want. Win Win.
