Does anyone know what year was the FIRST year that MOPAR started putting the Pentastar on the right front fender?

Probably an easy one for most of you but I didn't know.

I think around Jan or Feb of 63, my 63 belve which was born Oct 62 does not have one. they where also metal not plastic

My 63 has it. It's barely visible in this picture, but it's there.

They came back later. My 1995 neon had the pentastar.
