Drag Racing in the Desert next couple of Saturdays

The local "Mr. Mopar" here in La Paz (finish line of the Baja 1000) told me that this Saturday (May 27th) is tune day and the following Saturday (June 3rd) is the scheduled 1/8 mile competition. Mr Mopar has a 600 HP 440 1972 Cuda.

Nothing happening today noonish at the starting line. There is a plaque remembering a bystander killed ten years ago.
