Looking to buy a new driveshaft for 1968 Charger with 500hp 440 and 727 trans. Mostly street cruiser, tire burner. Any recommendations?

You can get a decent machine shop to build on. It is a tube with the universal joints at each end. I did that a long time ago. The match two shafts in the middle and weld plan did not work. I got a vibration. Had to get any info from Hot Rod magazine back then

Check with local truck supply companies. They usually offer drive shaft rebuilding/repairs/replacement.
