Any of you guys ever repair a pulled out stud on a scoop. It would be the style that could be optioned on a Super Bee and I believe is made of ABS plastic, or possibly fiberglass. What would be the best product to bond a metal stud back into it?
Epoxy would work. Make sure both the hole and the stud are ultra-clean & oil free (e.g. rubbing alcohol). If the scoop is fiberglass, then you could use fiberglass resin (2-part polyester) & don't use any of the fiberglass mat. Whatever you use, make sure the stud is straight in the hole before the epoxy/polyester cures.
