This video just popped up on YouTube last night. Since Eagle Field is about 30 minutes away, my buddy and I went there last year. Planned to go this year until it was cancelled due to the virus. There's a cool fly-by at around the 6:00 minute mark.

Never raced there, but I do agree, it is hot and dusty.

Great video. That Camaro left early. The flag guy couldn’t explain that go was when the flag was raised. Announcer was a Chevy guy. Said on the mic every-time I qued he said “he’s gonna overpower the tires...”

Yep Had a race scheduled for this Sundayat local airport. Was cancelled though. We've been racing locally for some years now. Limited to 10 seconds and slower but some cars manage to go quicker. Good for some of us to T&T there before going to a real drag strip. Always a good turnout. Usually 150 to 200 cars.

Regarding the flyby, I've seen a few b25s flying in my area, but very few four engine prop planes flying any more.
