I have to change the heater core in my 65 coronet wagon , and I have several questions on what is avalible and what is not.

1. Anyone make a replacement heater core for the early b-bodies?
2.replacement for the flexable hose going to the defrost vents?
3.the big flexible hose coming out of the blower motor?
4. the two rubber bushings that are around the heater core nipples coming out of the firewall?
Any and all help is appreciated.
Matt

I have not had any luck finding one on ebay. May just be me not finding them. Have found several for 66-70 B-body car, but I have not seen any for the early B-body. Checked on Napa site as well, but the one they show for the 65 looks like the 66-up and they don't show one for the 64 year model and it would be the same as the 65. Makes me wonder if there catalog is not off a year on the interchange. Thanks and if any one else has an idea let me know.

Try these folks.... Decent prices, fast and reasonable shipping... I've used them often and recommend them...

I have a good used heater core if it comes to that.

I appreciate your help, but those are the wrong heater cores. I will have to get a picture of mine tonight. I don't know why the parts catalogs show it like the 65 is the same as the 66-70 heater core. They don't show one for a 64 and the 64-65 should be the same. Again I very much appreciate you try to help, and I will get a picture of mine tonight as I have it out. Thanks, Matt

I've got a good one if you can't find one.Actually I have a core and two complete heater assemblies.

Thanks for everyones help. Yes, the one you have pictures of is just like the one that i removed from my car. You see it is differnet from the ones the parts stores show and the ones seen on ebay as they all show both the pipe nipples installed. The one that i took out of my car was leaking. It did not start to leak till I put a new carpet in? Must have been something to do with the new carpet............ Let me see what I can come up with a I will go from there. Again I honestly appreciate all of the help. I will keep you updated. Matt

There is one on ebay correct for our early b-bodies,go to ebay motors then to parts and accessories then punch in 65 mopar heater core. AMS Obsolete has them, $189.50. they are in Fairmount GA. hope this helps, John

When I bought my 64 Belvedere years ago the heater wasn't working and the hoses were bypassed. Bad core, vacuum lines, push button control etc. I tore it all out, boxed it up and figured I would eventually get around to restoring it and reinstalling it. I've had the car back together now for a few years and I still haven't got a heater, but you know, I don't miss it a bit. But then I don't drive it in the dead of winter up here. Lots of room under the dash now. I just tell people it's a heater delete.
