      I wonder if I can have THIS ready in time?

      I have engines, transmissions, alternators and starters....I'll need to build a wire harness for the engine side or buy one. I will need an intake for either a 383 or a 440. I have a '71 440 I pulled from a Chrysler 300 over 10 years ago. It ran fine then. I could slip in a 2.94 open diff for the drive. I wouldn't have time for bodywork and paint but I'm sure I'll have it running and driving before then. That is 4 1/2 months. I am out of work at the moment but if I get some far away, long commute job, all bets are off.

        I wouldn’t put money on it. Don’t forget Track Day at Willow Springs the Thursday before.

        To get this car running well enough to be reliable means I'd need pretty much everything to go right from here. No problems finding parts, no problems finding all the unique bolts and brackets, etc.
        It can be done.....But will it?
        I guess we will see.

        Grocery list now. Trying to squeeze another year out of the 440. 90k. Not easy miles.
        Quart to a thousand, nefarious clutch fan, replaced the rods, can’t make a simple add so putting factory valve covers back on etc.....

          Always something that needs done.
          Haven't been there in years. Bought a 63 2 door post Valiant the last time about 10-12 years ago.
          Maybe this year.

          Well, time to go all in and get a 392crate for it. You will go faster than you ever dreamed so you won't miss the Hellcat or the ton of extra $$$ that would cost.

          My Blown 5.7 could probably walk the 440. But, there is nothing like the low end torque right now at 900 rpm that the big block has. Creates more fear. And smoke. That’s the best part.
