As a 1966 owner I watch the 66-67 Chargers on Ebay. As with 99% of the repeatedly run cars that don't sell this one has continually dropped in final bid price and who knows how much schill bidding has contributed to the final price in every auction for this car. It ends again shortly and we will see where it ends this time.

Here are links from the first time It ran to present for those who are interested.

As I am quickly coming up to speed on 66-67 Chargers. It was also pointed out on the one I recently purchased. White Interior w/Red carpet isn't "factory". That Charger's TRM code is P4R which is all red. The same as mine. So to say "The car looks very impressive and reportedly recently underwent a one year complete restoration in its original factory color 'Bright Red' (Color code PP1) paint with its original 'White' color bucket seat interior with bright red carpeting."

Still a very nice looking car. But with a little research the seller would know that.

look closer..it ain't white...it's more of a tan color, sprayed on with spray paint...car has been seen in person by a few of my friends..it was bought at Barrett Jackson to flip and make a profit...not gonna happen

way too many things wrong with that car...it's been discussed many times

Bryan

Not trying to argue, but that really looks like pearl white. We were discussing it over and the Coronet Registry. Pearl white looks dirty when next to bright white.

On 66 Coronets, if you got upper door frame paint as white with white panels it looked horrible. And that was from the the factory.

OK...we won't argue...a number of people have seen that car in person....it ain't white

I have an original pearl white interior 66 Charger here

Well, it ended @ $20k this time, reserve not met and right back on Ebay again for like the 5th time I believe.

I know what he paid for the car at BJ + fees....he ain't gonna flip it for a profit like he hopes...first off, the gauges look like crap. Then there's the rear medallion issue, this car has been picked to death on other forums...it's not worth what he asking, let alone what he paid

Bryan

There was one just as nice down here for 14K.

Sorry Bryan, wasn't trying to to question your observation from friends. I looked at more pics of the interior and some pics look more white than others. The others sure do look tan, really almost light yellow. I must have looked at one of the more white pics only. I was more trying to point out that pearl white is much different than bright white. Something I have to work through on my 66 500 vert. My 67 Charger at least has matching pearl white door panels. So that one will be easy.

just found out that the car is sold and on it's way to Germany....unsure of purchase price, but I don't think it sold through eBay

Yeah, i saw that too. They had relisted it for about the 6th time and it was not on there long and showed ad no longer available. Likely someone that had been bidding on it made a deal on it finally. From the bidding I would guess it dold for around $20K.

If they only got 20K for it the dealership who bought it at BJ took a bath. It went for 24,600 I believe plus buyers premium plus shipping...ouch...
