Gents please educate me on this topic
It's almost time to buy hedders and I know the exh ports are raised on Victor heads But will standard hedders fit ?? The gaskets etc ???

When using TTi headers, I believe the passenger side may need slight modification of one of the tubes. Other than that, I don't think you'll have an issue.

Watch the collector to torsion bar interference on the passenger side.
If you do not use solid engine mounts after making any needed mods to the collector, you'll likely hear the two bouncing off each other as the engine shakes...
Not much room between the two!!!!!!!!!!

Will they fit the heads? Yes. Will they fit the car? Dunno.

I have a set of TTI stepped headers for my low deck, Victor headed engine going in my '66 Charger with a GF5R 5-speed. Ill let you know how it work out. I will say that there is a HUGE dent in #5 tube for spark plug clearance. If you want pictures let me know and I'll post some up of the headers out of the car.

I have a long tube set in my 65 Belvedere with a Victor headed 493 and solid mounts. Fit is very good!

Scooby,
Are yours purchased for the raised exh ports? TTI offers Victor specific headers for B-bodies..... The OP asks about regular ol b-body headers on a RB with Victor heads....
Mine is an RB (440 block) in a 67 Satt W/Victor heads and TTI headers... My headers ARE NOT the Victor specific type (got them for free), and I HAD to work on the collector for pass side, and even now it is a close fitment...... Like I said before, solid engine mounts will help mitigate any vibration causing interference between the collector and torsion bar when using NON Victor specific headers.

Just looked at other posts from the OP...
Are you putting these in the Dart your building, or a B-Body?

Forget the solid mounts, use the poly loc mounts from Shumacher or use the standard mounts with the Shumacher torque strap. Your engine wont move......you can set a glass of water on it and it'll barely ripple the water.

I have Victor heads, with Hooker super comp 2" tubes, using Remflex 6002 exhaust gaskets.

Nice... and tight. :icon_mrgreen:
