Electric Indy racing

Many years ago, we used to have Indy racing in Vancouver. From 1990 to 2004, the streets were filled with speed each summer. Then it stopped.

Now, the electric version is coming back. Next year, Vancouver will have the E-Prix on it's streets.

They all use cigarette packs in the spokes (maybe you need to be Canadian to understand this)

The crashes seem to be about the same...

Should be about as stimulating as F1 when they went turbo v6/hybrid. F1 is slowly realizing that was a mistake as fans want the noise of an internal combustion engine singing 15k+ rpm.

I'm sure a lot of people love the noise. But the complaints from the racket echoing off the building walls was one of the reasons that racing stopped in Vancouver after 2004.
