Emblems

Just got my new 400 magnum emblems for my bulge hood, 72 charger. Is there supposed to be backing tape on the back even when they have studs. Nothing on them.

I don't think the emblems should have double back adhesive tape
when they have studs,
IIRC they are just held on by the tin speed-nuts
when you put the studs thru the org. holes
speed-nuts on the recesses (?) under/backside

don't quote me, I may be wrong
I'm not much up on 72's either
