Hi guys, anyone know of some solid 440 rebuild books or literature i can buy. Ive seen some online but they are black and white illustrations. Would prefer colours of anyone can help.
Cheers.

I doubt you'll find a volume printed fully in color. If you did, you'd complain about the price and buy the black and white one that's 10x cheaper anyway. It's not a coffee table book, it's an instructional manual. The photos are concise enough to see what you need to see. I've had this one for 30+ years and it's served me well...

[How To Rebuild Big-Block Mopar Engines] [Author: Don Taylor] [January, 2012]: Don Taylor: Amazon.com: Books

A factory service manual would be a nice reference as well, it will also be black and white with fuzzy photos and line drawings...

What information are you looking for? Most books cover the basics, and then get into some modifications, but they all are a bit outdated when it comes to the latest performance offerings.
Fist book it get is the Factory Service Manual (FSM). I think you can get a hardcopy re-print brand new for a reasonable price. I like the hard copy books better than the scanned PDF versions. E-bay or other on-line sources might have used copies at a better price? 1969 Dodge Charger, Coronet, Dart Service Manual
Second book would be the MOPAR Performance ENGINES book, often called the MOPAR Bible. I think they have been out of print for awhile. Alot of good info, although dated by current standards. Prices on these have gotten a bit crazy: Mopar Engines: Speed Secrets & Racing Modifications for Chrysler V-8 & 6 Cylinder Engines by unknown author: Good paperback 8th. | Rebooksellers
Third would be the HP/SA books, as mentioned above.
