Exhaust coatings

Has anybody used Calyx or any graphite style coating on headers?
I have had good results on cast exhaust manifolds which have a nice texture but headers are smooth and thin wall?
Looking for a dark grey natural coating.

My gut instinct is that if the headers don't have any paint on them, it should stick....BUT, I suggest you ask your coater first. If you coat your own stuff.... "try in a small inconspicuous spot first"
