I have a 26" rad id# 2996 9 65, under that 59538. 18" fan. I'm trying to find a shroud. All the shrouds i've found have a 16" opening for the fan. Do I have the wrong fan or just can't find the right shroud. It's for a 68' sport sat, 440. Thanks

why not find an aftermarket semi universal one or,better yet, have one made from sheet metal.i think all the factory fans where 15 or 16 inch.could you trim out a plastic one?

I may be able to trim one out to fit an 18", but don't have the $$ to buy one cut it up and have it not work. I just wasn't sure if there were any b bodies that came with 18" and shroud. Maybe i just have the wrong size fan?

Does anybody know the answere to this. In 68 were the fans 18" or smaller. I noticed the same thing about the shrouds for sale. Maybe the mopar perf shrounds are smaller or listed and described as the wrong size.

Thanks for the post but what size is the original fan is it 18 or 18 1/2. Maybe even smaller.

Some good info there, thanks!!!

I bought one of these, my 18 inch fan fits fine. You can contact them and ask them to measure opening for you...

Thanks, that sure looks like the right one.

I'm guessing 18"

I used one off an 85 Chrysler 5th ave.. It bolted right up to my radiator, and I've got a 7 blade 20" fan and clutch off an 89 Power wagon 360 set up for my 72 satty. Works great and I think I've got 45 bucks for the whole setup. The motor is a 451 480 horse so it should work fine for ya. Take care Howard

According to my '68 book--you could get a 18-1/2" 7-blade 2-1/4" fan with a/c. Regular was 18", so it oughta work.
