Finally got the rocker molding on.

After trying (and failing) to find some original inserts - the ones that slide into the front of the molding - I decided to make my own. The inserts that come with the new plastic clips are a weird design that look far less functional than the original. They are oblong, with a cheap-looking spring and hook design. Uhh... no!

So... necessity is the mother of invention.

Since I replaced the passenger quarter panel, I had to punch a couple of holes in the bottom of it for the molding clips... jeez, measure carefully!!
The trim popped on just fine, and she looks great. I wasn't looking forward to this part of the project, but it worked out great.

What better way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. Well, a drive in the country would've been nice.
