Well,I'm "qualified" with USAA ,but they dont like homes with fireplaces.Lotta crazy stuff going on."How many dents in siding and/or depressions in roofing per square foot. Simple,take your money & not pay!

Hmmm, don't know. All three of the homes I've owned in my life had wood-burning fireplaces. Never had a problem.

Had the same problem in NJ in the mid 2000's. Sorry to say, but there aren't too many Ash trees left in North Jersey. Sorry about your shitty luck Bro.

Two sections about 60 per section and 1 post about 20. 150 labor. Thats about right for fence repair. What about the tree?

I got quoted 400 for removal of tree. Problem is with the fence they were all custom cut panels so it’s not as simple as going to Home Depot and getting 2 Panels. These are arche, high point in the middle progressively lowering until you hit the next post.

Ouch! And 6 ft fence. 8 ft pickets are hard to find here. And them every last ones a custom cut. You did not have a replacement valve policy?
My Allstate agent told me years ago. Dont file a claim on anything but an almost total loss.

Funny thing is all state called me half hour after I seen this happened and shot me a nice quote.

No replacement policy. They tried hitting me with a $114 dollar depreciation on the fence since it was old, I told them what am I supposed to do ask my neighbors if they will sell me a portion of their fence? Ended up waiving it.

Ash borers came through Mi several years ago. Lost a lot of ash trees in our area. They banned moving firewood county by county trying to stop the spread.
Do you have Auto-Owners Insurance in your area? They have very good ratings.
