Friend and computer,what would you do ?

I have an "extremely" good friend that is computer obsessed.He is about 30 mi from me and we used to talk on the phone on a regular basis,I'd call him,he would call me, sometimes call would last an hour.Lately,when I call him he always seems to be in front of his computer.We will be talking and then there is total silence on his end,a few times I thought we lost a connection but then he will say something or ask what I said or I'll say are you still there.Three weeks ago we were talking and about 5 min into the conversation there was total silence for almost a minute then he ask if I was on the computer,I said no "I'm on the phone" call me back when you want to talk,said goodbye and hung up,haven't heard from him since.Out of curiosity,what would others have done.

If it were a good friend of mine, I'd take the 30 minute drive over to his house & see him in person....

well you did ask what we would have done. personally, i would go visit him and have a beer or 3 and talk about the fun times you had together before cyber space took hold of him

----------Your friend has a issue and when and if he smartens up he will call you. What happens is if he needs a friend to talk to he will realize the internet cant help him and only a real friend can
