Fuel unit.....

Hey guys...

The previous owner of my car, ran the gas line up through the trunk, and set up a Fram canister fuel filter, then ran it under the back seats, then down through the floor again, down to the fuel pump, then to the fuel filter at the carb. Although I dont think this is safe at all LOL.. So i'm gunna put it how it should be from factory, so does the canister filter just get bolted to the fram by the tank then have the lines ran up to the fuel pump?

yes, get those fuel lines out of the inside of the car asap.
fuel filter to the frame rail or rear trunk support.

so.. a line should exit the tank, then go to the filter, then have a line running to the pump?
