G2 Hemi Build **Need Cam Help

Hey guys,...Need some cam help on a stock Bore & Stroke G2 426 hemi, 10.5 CR, MP/Edy Alum heads, Mag X-Ram & Holleys, Planning on Bullet Solid FT Avtiz=293 0.050"=264, 0.600" Lift, ICL=108 With R Barton Solid Tool Steel Lifters... 135# Seat, 380# Nose, ..Occasional Short Cruise/Occassional strip....Read so much FT Lobe/Tappet wipe-out catastrophic iron bits...Will the Above realistically Live or is Roller the Only Plan ?? ...If Roller, thinking Hydro cam using Solid Rollers @ Zero Cold...What about Distr Gear ?? No experience with Roller scene...Am I filling motor with sacrifice Dist gear grit ?? ....Thx for any Help.....

I run comps FT hydraulic. No problems on a 528 Hemi. My advice is discuss this with your builder.

I also run Comp FT in my 70 Charger's and 70 Roached Runner. I also have a 528" Hemi, but run a custom ground nitrous roller bearing solid roller camshaft with over .800 lift on the street and strip also in my 70 Challenger.

I use a low lash solid roller from Cam Motion (.010 hot) and melonized distributor gear.

only advice I can offer is go with either solid FT or Roller and forget about the hydraulic roller just my opinion

Hey Beekeeper,...I stopped by your place this past X-mas eve or so,...Nice cars man !! ....I meant a Hydro Roller cam stick Running Solid Rollers at near Zero lash cold.....

You're running a Roller hydro stick with Solid Rollers ? ....I heard you can run Solid Lifters on Hydro cam for Smallest Lash.... Correct ? ....INTMD8,....Does the Melonized dizzy Gear wear out Quickly ?? ..... Beekeeper,..The idea to run Solid Roller Lifters on Hydro Stick on street is to avoid the Leaky hydro Lifters probs & get Minimum lash benefits for extended Roller Lifter life.....Thanks all for help....

new and stupid about hemi ( MOPAR) i am hearing that a 4.5 bore 540 Mopar aftermarket block likes the roller bit any help will be nice thanks
