we are going to try and keep doing this , it would be a fun thing for everyone to do in your city's although this guys garage was so clean not sure any work is done there other then cleaning

Great idea too...

I use to do a deal somewhat like that,
when I still lived in Concord Ca. Turtle Creek area...
I wish I took photos more too...
We had a Monday Night Football Party every Mon. whether there was football or not,
we took turns who would cook, there were like a dozen or so of regulars,
a few wives, girlfriends once in a while {mostly guys night} & even a few single women,
from many of the dealerships that were my customers or office personnel...
Some Mon.'s it was a madhouse too...
I the summertime it was a pool party, BBQ & hot tub,
off season was playing Horse, basketball or Ping Pong, Poker or
hitting golf balls into Turtle Creek greenbelt behind my house...

We had some great meals, we tried to outdo each other allot...
Sometimes it was just Hotdogs or Pizza too,
we had a fund setup @ a few dealerships for recycle stuff that we'd cash in,
have a Christmas/New Years blowout...

I had a cool smoking den set up in my 5 car garage,
1 whole bay was dedicated to outside comfort,
selfishly, I must admit, so people wouldn't smoke in my house...
I had people tell me the coach, recliners & big screen TV,
was nicer than what they had at home,
we'd sometimes do boxing PPV or Movies even,
different theme nights as it grew over the years...
Some would contribute booze, some beer, some food, some appetizers,
some even made T-shirts & other promotional paraphernalia,
like shot glasses, sun glasses, place settings, coasters, signs & mirrors etc....
I had a good friend that worked for Southern Wine & Spirits,
he generously always supplied allot of cool stuff & alcohol...

Most my buddies were car guys, most all worked at a auto dealership too,
it was like an impromptu car show every Mon. at my place...
New & old, lowriders, trucks, 4x4's, hotrods, racecars/streetcars etc.

The neighborhood/cul de sac was all cool with it for the most part too...
Most attended too, Might as well enjoy instead of be an a$$...

I really miss those day now, everyone moved away,
it's just boring Mon. Nights now...
This went on for almost 10 years,
a few in that same group would go to Hawaii for the Pro-Bowl too...

Good times enjoy them while you can...
