I need to get a new fuel tank and related hoses. Might as well get the float too. Any suggestions on where to get a good reproductions. I'm not sure how the original tank was coated. What was the original coated with --- Niterne or zinc?

I don't know what yr car ur needing a fuel tank for, but the older cars used to have a hi lead content in their tank metal. Made it very easy to modify or repair , as long as a guy could remove the fumes .

    Didn`t catch that !
66`s had a hi lead content too , very easy to repair if u can get the fumes all out.
Don't know when it was changed because of the lead thing--------probly in the 70`s ??

I got a tank for 67 RT from Vans. They seem to have a good selection of tanks, senders and now connection tubes. No idea what the differences are from Coronet to Charger in these years but I would start there. Also, be prepared to have issues with the float adjustment. I haven’t found a sender that actually read accurately without tweaking the float arm.

All 66-67 B bodies used the same tank. A lot of the suppliers have them.

I agree with Spectra. I have a fuel cell but looked at a Spectra model...
