Not a Torqueflite (C-6) but funny! I rebuilt many of these over the years but, none made me laugh like this!

Looks like it may have gotten some water in the trans.... If it were just heavy load & hard work the clutch should look burnt... It looks like the fiber de-lamintated.. The glue that attaches automatic transmission clutch material to the core is water soluble & so if they get wet with water they come apart...
