My tires on my car are the same size all around 235/60R15. I'm wanting to go wider in the rear and still fit under fender wells. I have plenty of room, but what works?

If I recall, the rear inner fender area on 71 to 74's is approx. 14" inches. It is very close to my car which is a 73. Although it depends on wheel backspace, I think many here have used N-50 / 15 or 295 / 15"s with out problems. I know someone who mounted 29 x 12.50 / 15 on an 8.5" rim and it worked but it was very close! Since tires can be pricey, I would suggest a wheel/tire fitment tool like "Percy's.
PS - Your car is beautiful!

What size & offset are your wheels? Do you want to change wheels? What application, general street, street/strip(Drag Radial)? Looks like lots of larger tire sizes available. 295/50R-15 even 325/50R-15 Drag Radials are available. Looks like the 295 will need 8 or 10" wheel, 325 Drag Radial needs 10". Just need the proper size/offset wheel.

A 275-60-15 is about as large as you can go and have them tuck in without any modifications.

I know that my wheels are 8 inches wide, I hadn't planned on changing the wheels but I would buy a wider pair for the rear if needed. Not sure what the offset is yet. This car will probably never see the track it's just gonna be a tire smoking cruiser.

They are 15 x 8 with a 4.5" backspace. I had 1/2" clearance at the closest point on the wheel lip and leaf spring.

Fronts are 15 x 7 with 4" back space. 245-60-15
