Can a stock Starter on a 440 with a 727 be used on a stock cast iron 11" clutch 143 tooth
4 speed flywheel?
Converting the car to a 4 speed.
Using a 2892262 bellhousing and a 143 tooth flywheel.

I think the Hemi is the only one with a different starter, the rest are all the same

Actually I should have said the Hemi 4 speed starter is different, the 727 is the same.

Hemi 4 speeds 66 to 69 used a direct drive starter. 64 and 65 race hemi's ?

I had the 11" flywheel (1969 version) on a 440 and used the same starter that was on my 383/727.
