Got another wing car,,, this time a Plymouth Superbird

Well gang.... As some may have guessed, deducted or whatever I was going to do after the sale of the Top Banana Challenger T/A, here's the answer... I have taken the duty to take on Allen's San Antonio Express, be the caregiver of his '70 Lemon Twist Superbird; 440 4bbl console pistol-grip 4speed.. It is a project, but one I'm looking forward in tackling. Initially, I was going to replace all the lines, install a tank, service the front end and brake system along.. Allen was kind enough to send me off with a 70 HP short block and misc engine components along with a small tote full of NOS parts for it.. I just got home.. Here are some pictures of the car during my trip to Ft. Worth. So, the T/A turned into a FY1 Superbird...

This IS my dream car. I had a 70 RR but it was not a Superbird. It was the same color, with a column Automatic and a 383. Nothing compared to this Bird! I will be following along with this post to keep track of it and to drool! LOL Best of luck with this project.

Well now you have a superbird you should let me make payments on that Daytona sitting there . I've always wanted a winged car and doesn't look like I'll ever get one . Well enjoy them if you ever get board air ether let me know maybe by then I'll have more penny's saved up.

this past weekend I picked up an original Superbird 440 4bbl. If I can't find the original 440, what better replacement to stick into my Bird than a 440 out of another Superbird... Also picked up a real nice passenger side '70 Coronet fender....
