Goin through some old pics and found 2 different '66 Coronet 440's I had in the 90's for daily drivers. Anyone still have pics of theirs? I'm not talking about trailered show cars or weekend cruisers, but rather 60's or 70's cars that got you to work in rain, snow, sleet, you name it, every day. The pics from Indy were from '97, just finished painting it at my friends garage and drove it out to the Nats. The dark green one I drove from '90-'97.

Those picts are pretty cool.

My 1st car was a 71 triple green chally. I regretted selling it so much, i bought this one shortly after.

Bought this '74 Charger when I was 17 in 1977. Used as as my daily driver to finish high school and then onto work. I sold it to my younger brother in 1985 when I picked up an 1983 Monte Carlo SS. I still have the SS and wish I had the Charger, knowing now how rare it was/is.

From 1984. The Duster and Barracuda were mine and the 73 Charger was my cousins. Oh, the good old days....

My first three were a 51 Henry j, 59 Morris minor, then a POS 72 Gremlin 304 car. Neighbours put a petition out to get my licence takin away. :D

The red Barracuda in the rear was my DD from 1985 to 1990. Red on red 318 4-speed, The Challenger was 1 74 360 Rallye I had for a couple years. I replaced the Barracuda with the 73 Charger Rallye. The first pic of the Charger i how I bought it for 1k in 1989. It ran around San Diego for years with a hemi. Original 400 car but the k-member was hacked up for the hemi so I put a small block one in and installed a 340. Restored pic is at Woodly park cica 1992.

Ok, I'll give up one embarrassing pic from back when:
brucetomme68bee.jpg
Yes, that's full-haired me on the ground in front of my 'Bee, along with my
friends Bruce and Tom, circa 1983 or so.

That's Toms' T/A that he bought from the original owner in his neighborhood
- he had ridden past it on his bike for years and knew he wanted it long before even understanding what it was. Saved his paper route money and wala, T/A Challenger
while still in high school!
Seems like he got it for less than $2500....

I had been all over cars by then but never any Mopars - usually some clapped out
GM product of some sort (I always liked Cutlasses....). When Tom got the T/A,
it was like a lightbulb lit over my head.
Next thing you know, I buy the Super Bee for $2300 with a 440-6 and a 4 speed.
Drove that dang thing anywhere and everywhere...

Stupidly sold it in the late 80's after buying another '68 Bee, this time from the
original owner for $500. The first 'Bee needed some frame work and wasn't original
in any way - the next one WAS, down to the last bolt, so the idea was to take the
funds from selling one to restore the other.

None of that happened - but life sure as hell did.
