im making a drag car 330 64 dodge with a 426 max id like to make the grill like the single light hemi style how hard is it and if any pics it would help thanks

My tig skills are basically gluing 2 pieces of aluminum or stainless steel together when absolutely necessary, if I tried welding those beer can thin grills, I’d be out 2 grills per try! :(
 
On thin aluminum, I use a stainless backer and start out with low amps with the tig rod at the ready.
 
Here’s a 64’ grille that I converted a long time ago and the owner had a “accident” so I was able to fix it. The 65’ Coronet grille was a just a fix and polish. I’ve done 2 single headlight conversions for that year.
