Mocked up the rear seat surround in my 67 plymouth belvedere 2. I had to do some tweaking ( nothing major) to make it fit. Yes, it's a four door. I just have to get the hooks.
Yes, I had to remove the two hooks for the sedan. They interfered with the seat surround. I believe the hooks are the same. The GTX hooks are probably the same as the belvedere, but they are inverted. I had to do a little tweaking to the surround but, nothing major. I will have to look for the lower mounting braces for the lower part of the upper rear seat. The hooks came off easy. I took pliers and moved them back, and forth, and they broke off clean. I will remove the surround, and shoot it with SEM trim black. It was not difficult to pull this off.I would have thought the hooks would be universally mounted for the seat back in all body styles. Do you remove the sedan ones?
Those are the hooks I'm trying to scrounge up. Stephens performance said they will contact me on monday. I keep reminding them that i need the 67 GTX, or 66 Satellite hooksThe GTX / Satellite takes completely different mounting brackets for the seat back than Belvederes. Here is a photo.

Yes, i forgot. I actually saw a c body with a similar surround on ebay. He was selling the seat back, and showed a picture of the car. I tried to convince him to sell me the hooks, but he insisted that those hooks would not fit a b body, the hooks looked the same to me. I did not argue1967 Satellite also
Could you show me the lower seat mounts for the rear upper seat for a 67 GTX, 66, 67 Satellite? The GTX / Satellite takes completely different mounting brackets for the seat back than Belvederes. Here is a photo of a 1967.
1966 brackets are narrower, and so are the holes on the plastic seat surround. Yet another part that is different 66 to 67.

Haha, hey if you have a few of those brackets hanging around doing nothing let me know. I knew going in doing this conversion would entail some things. Just a matter of digging around.
Sprayed the seat surround today. Sprayed a prep solvent then painted it SEM trim black. It's boring waiting for IAN.I would have thought the hooks would be universally mounted for the seat back in all body styles. Do you remove the sedan ones?
