You can use about anything, if it's to be sanded off.
 
Sure. It might be easier to find grey, but as long as you can see it.
 
Guide coat, powder, etc meant to be sanded will be less effort than an enamel paint.
 
I dont use guide coats on black primer. When you start blocking it has a lighter color You will see the highs and lows Im not sure why you would use black primer unless your worried about showing chips down the road. Most new painted require a shade sealer for getting the proper color unless your going black.
