I recently acquired one of these in lieu of some back rent.

It ratchets in one direction via the lever and both directions via the wheel.

I suspect the issue is simply the up/down selector pawl- it's also fairly loose.

I'm having trouble finding a diagram or youtube for this specific model.

I can get the L4 and L5 manuals from the Harrington site but not the L3.

There is a Kito LB series disassembly vid, but it's not the same.

The L4 diagram looks similar, but the steps are not super clear. I'd rather see a vid.

Anyone know how to get at the inside of the handle to see the pawl?

Looks like a LOT of springs, gears, clutches, etc might have to come out.

Well it's not the selector pawl.

I managed to get into the handle without taking out too many parts.

Both ends of the pawl look decent.

It does bother be that it's super loose.

The shaft is press/riveted to the handle, so no taking it out to bush the hole.

I could bush the hole in the back half of the handle...

I wonder if it's supposed to be loose.

Anyone got one?
