Only black and red kind of makes you want to go to restorers instead.

I know the guy making these but have not tried one yet. I'm betting that they are pretty nice.

These are the same ones from El Paso that have been available for years.

Red is for 75-79 as red was never available for 71-74. These are restored on original metal frames.

Also the ones from B/E&A were junk. Think Mike quit making them a while back.

I haven't seen these ones, I would ask for additional pictures of these besides the 3 stock photos. They don't look bad at all.

One thing is for sure, do not buy any dash pad from El Paso, TX. That crook Alan Foxx from dash masters aka ultimate rides aka this new pool place is behind all of them. Do a search on him here to see the wonderful experiences people have had with him.

I searched for a quality 71-4 dash pad for years, I was lucky enough to find an original tan mint condition pad on ebay, got it for $54! Dyed it black and the thing is perfect!

I never have heard anything wrong from the one on ebay :icon_sad:

long time ago there was a guy with nickname AZ-NICK selling remanufactured dash pads and they seem to be REALLY NICE. Dunno what happened

hey Mark
is abc that place that had a bunch
of them at carlisle?

How are the Classic Industries units? They are over an ABS core and not metal, but that doesn't bother me.

Here is ABCmoparts website. I've talked to him and seen his product. Seems to be a real straight up guy and was impressed with his stuff.
I've know Alan Foxx for years and actually I'm the one that talked him into doing the 71-4 B pads years back. I supplied him with his first 20 or so cores but he sure has seemed to drive his name into the ground. I'm in no way in cahoots with him, just know him. He runs his business the way he wants too which I don't understand.
If you want one of his pads I suggest you go through Dante's and let him deal with Alan.
I'd stay away from the ones made with a plastic frame. Never have seen one worth using.
And that's the scope Betty Boop.

ok!!! so I think then they are the ones to get still... because I have seen pic of those ( at 3rd gen charger board ) and they are GREAT
If you can get one without flaws. I've used his and they are ok. You have to trim the map light insert to get to fit. Also the wood grain insert fits really tight.
Seeing them on the internet and actually installing one is a different story.

Yes Mikes were plastic frames. I was looking at one at his booth at Carlisle a few years ago. I started asking him about the things that I found wrong with it. He just turned and walked away from me.

If anyone is interested, I have my old core I'd part with if you wanted to go the Just Dashes route. That's what I wanted to do (until I was lucky enough to find an original pad) but I didn't want my car to be dashless for an extended period of time since I heard Just Dashes doesn't necessarily have a quick turn around time.

Don't buy any of these pads with out inspecting them before you lay down the cash. There are a lot of flawed pieces floating around out there. But there are some nice ones on the metal core that are very nice. Know what you are buying before you buy.
