"Only Time" is a song by the Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya, released in
November 2000 as the lead single to her fifth studio album, A Day Without Rain (2000).

What you may not know is that in 2001 it was released again, as a single. Enya donated
the earnings from the sale of that single to the Uniform Firefighters Association's Widows'
and Children's Fund to help the families of the fire fighters lost in the aftermath of 9/11.
This is one of my all time favorite songs, from a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart.

Great song. I thought that she also had a song in the 1997 movie Titanic.
The echo/hollow sound she produces is great. Thanks..!

The original was a good song, but the single version was too jazzed up.

I have always enjoyed her recordings....even tho I can not understand a single word she is singing.

"I can not understand a single word she is singing"

Hmmm,
Woman thing?
Hearing thing?
Age thing?
All the "stocks" you've been buying thing?

You are correct Sir, i can't decipher either

I would have never guessed?

Who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time
And who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose, only time
Who can say why your heart sighs
As your love flies, only time
And who can say why your heart cries
When your love lies, only time
Who can say when the roads meet
That love might be in your heart
And who can say when the day sleeps
If the night keeps all your heart
Night keeps all your heart
Who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose
Only time
And who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time
Who knows? Only time

Also, I would have sworn that I heard "chardonnay" in the reprise(?)
