We really liked NC on the other side of the mountains the several times we were up there for a few weeks.

June/July- t shirt and shorts during the day but could wear long pants and sleeves at night.
Food was phenomenal, too.


It's been crazy humid here this year.

"Only" 87 right now but 95+% humid and "feels like" 100.
We had almost a whole month of that in April/May.

...and end of July/August is usually worse!
