The one for the seat base may interfere with seat travel. Don’t recognize the fastener type either. The old car is so much easier to do ANYTHING to. Nevada high speed runs, Texas Mile etc require a metal bracket.
I believe that fastener is called an E-head; basically an inside-out torx. Relatively easy to find sockets for them, I've always had a kit on my bench just in case. I've run into them a couple times before but can't recall for what...but I do get some use out of them.
Check out the bracketeer.com. They also work with the Element fire extinguisher. elementfire.com. Puts out all classifications of extinguisher but no lithium fires.
