Head lights

Does it hurt anything to not use the hold open feature on my 67s hideaways. I normally just turn them on they open I turn them off they close. I had a problem years ago with them staying open after not being used for a long time. everything works fine now. Just wondering. I didn't know if the motors stayed engaged and would not want to burn them up.

nah, won't hurt a thing, motors don't stay engaged all the time anyway, just when the headlight bucket comes off of the limit switch

Thanks I thought so. I guess the hold open switch is to change bulbs or some s**t.

according to the factory literature, it's for cleaning
