Hi I can't seam to find headers for a 75 Fury with the 5.2 Motor. Is anything available for this application?
thanks
tim

Yeah... I don't know about a 5.2 in a 75 mopar. But, headers for small block mopars ( 318, 340, 360) are available in B bodies.

Jegs and Summit sell them. Prices vary as much as $300. Not sure why.
Ebay as well.
If it was a POLY you'd be stuck with TTI at $800. Not sure why this price either.

Tim, believe or not, I’ve had excellent luck with Summit Racing headers. There flange is a actually 3/8 thick and they have fitted well in my A, B & & E body cars. There a 1-5/8 tube into a 3 inch collector. Reducers are 2-1/2.

There are two things I dislike about this style of header that has been produced and copied over the decades.
1; 3 tubes on the drivers side to under the steering linkage.
2: At the end of the headers, the collectors are at different spot under the car. The passenger side being further back than the drivers side.

But there is good news to that. Summit also offers an exhaust system designed to bolt up under the car. While they state it is designed for Hooker headers, the Hookers are of the same design and vary little. The exhaust will fit. It is not a slap together exhaust in a box that can be done with no brains, but it is easy. I’ve used there exhaust system in a box 3 times and they all required a minor trimming at the worst. I used the suggested Hooker headers once and Summit racing’s headers twice.

The exhaust is from a company called “Heart Throb” IIRC. They have been around for decades. The exhaust system in a box can include mufflers if you want. The mufflers are good units and provide a good rumble.

I also have installed the Summit “H” pipe. It is a PIA with or without the H pipe, but that should be nothing new to anyone.

The only other option that equals and surpasses the Summit exhaust header and exhaust system in a box is the TTI set up and at big price increase.

Thanks Rumblefish, I just looked up Summit and they don't have the Summit brand but have the Hooker brand at $224. #7805 HKR. Is this one of the brands you were talking about that work/fit? Link here

Thanks, Take care, be safe

Summit racing headers looked up u see a 1975 Dodge Charger with a small block:
https://www.summitracing.com/search...l-block-la/year/1975/make/dodge/model/charger

or actual part page;

Sometimes the search feature is a little sketchy. Depends on how the inputs are out into the search.

I have used the hooker headers before, the same one you posted above. I don’t remember how the flange was but….. IIRC…. And I could be wrong since it was about 15 years ago…. The flanges were thinner than the summits.
I have a set of the summit headers now on my Duster. The flange is thick and this can be noticed from 10 feet away.

I have also used the summit racing exhaust with both headers. I’m in the middle of an install now. (W/ an H pipe spliced in.)

Hi, thanks all.. does the driver side come in two pieces ? How do you get it around the steering linkage?
OH is the Charger the same body style and under hood steering set up??
tim

The Summit /Jegs are not 2 pieces on either side.
75 Charger and the Plymouth Fury 2 door share the same body style and underside.
You will have to disconnect the steering on the driverside (see photo)

More expensive and top quality such as TTI go above the steering linkage.

Hi I guess the Jegs wont fit as I have Power steering,, does the hookers work?? it says Ok with steering but it doesn't say power steering? or is that implied ?
thanks
tim

My 75 Charger had Power steering, brakes,A/C, Cruise Control, And had no problem fitting.
Fine print on Summit says fits all factory components. I'll look up Jegs next.

Damn if you ain't right. The 555-30080 said it don't fit power steering.
Yet it says it fits 1978 Plymouth Fury.Plus multiple other bodies.
Don't know about you but I have never seen a mid-late 70's B body with manual steering from the factory.
Oh well I tried, I'm out.

Hummm, I’m sure I had these on my ‘73 4spd Cuda w/PS.
The Hooker Super Comps w/a 1-3/4 primary tube fit excellent in my ‘79 Magnum w/a 360 & 727. It has PS.
If someone says you’ll loose torque, I had the super comps on the OE ‘79 - 318 and it felt absolutely fine, zero noticeable loss of torque. None that I could feel!

There also clear the ground very well and there is no need to mess with the steering linkage.

They are or nearly the cost of TTI’s though.

Scroll down on the tti page to the B & E body headers. Take note they offer the header in a 340/360 or 273/318 size.
