Hello all! It’s a long story, but I just re-acquired the 1966 Coronet 500 2 door HT Poly that my grandpa bought in 1969. My grandpa passed when I was an infant, and my family got the car when I was 7. I rode to little league practice in it and later drove it in high school. Then it sat and “disappeared” (that’s the long story!). Now just a bit after my 43rd birthday, and thinking I may never see this car again, it is sitting in my driveway. It has been sitting for over 15 years and needs lots of work. It’s an original Arizona car though and solid with zero rust and straight as an arrow. I was ecstatic to find this forum full of knowledgeable and like-minded people that may share my excitement! Now the research, busted knuckles and money spending begins!

Looks pretty good from 50'. That is a pretty solid story of it's history right there to go with it. Glad it's back in your care. Can't think of a better place for it.
