I've got an unmolested 1962 max wedge intake. It is for the early 3447 afb's.
I've have 1964, Max wedge, 3705 carbs, which the venturi's are larger then the 3447's.
Would it be considered sacrilegious to bore the '62 manifold to fit the newer carbs?
Thanks, Mark

I’d bet most of the early manifolds were bored out for the larger AFBs.

If you’re not looking for originality, I’ve got a 63 manifold already bored for the larger AFBs, with fresh carbs, air cleaners, linkage, fuel lines, wiring harness, gaskets that I’d like to sell. PM me if you’d be interested.
