I ended up getting a pile of parts with my car. I have 3 power steering pumps and am not sure what’s trash and what’s worth keeping.

I believe my 70 should have come with a Saginaw. One of these appears to be the Saginaw, as there is one still sitting in the car hooked up to the steering box.

What are these others? I’ll probably keep the Saginaw, but are the others worth anything or are they trash?

Pictures 2 & 5 are Saginaw pumps.

I don’t see any trash pumps there, all have a use.

First one looks like a Federal. Get it out an take a photo of the back and the pulley&shaft.

I will make this thread a sticky. It will be easy to find when the question comes up again.

Which is correct for a 70 charger non ac car?

I’m assuming Saginaw, since that’s what’s still connected?

Nothing is trash when it comes to parts. Set them out of the way. Maybe one day you will need something on them.

I currently have a Saginaw pump with the late Saginaw canned ham reservoir as shown in the above photo far right. The pump has failed after about 7000 miles and about 1000 miles after installing a new Borgeson steering box with external cooler. I've just purchased a new Saginaw pump with the early Saginaw reservoir as shown in the above photo center. 2 questions:

1) Can I use the bolt on open pulley from my late Saginaw setup on my new early Saginaw pump?
2) Can I expect a straightforward swap with the new reservoir style without encountering any interference issues when bolting it up? My car is a 1968 Plymouth Satellite (currently with 451 low deck big block). I would prefer another canned ham reservoir, but I have a Borgeson steering box and this new Saginaw is from Bergman autocraft and the only option that was available.
