My 69 Charger driver side front window would not roll down today and I found the lift plate on the regulator arm had come off the glass (busted retainer). I thought this was the end of my problems. However, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the plastic part is I'm pointing to in the pic below. A tiny spring that looked to have been attached inside the rail also was broken and came out. The plastic part moves up and down in the window rail. Also, the window keeps going down until the rail hits the bottom of the door which doesn't seem right (see the other pic). Does the plastic piece I'm asking about provide some type of window stop action? I thought that's what the piece with the phillips head was for but, there is nothing for it to hit against.
