hemi 18 spline

i have a hemi 18 spline 4 speed that i wanted to use with a 426 wedge...the input shaft is cut so i wanted to locate one before i had it rebuilt...are all the input shafts the same for the 18 spline?? how do i tell if its A,B,E body trans ??

Thats a B & E body transmission. Depending on how much it is trimmed, you might get away with a roller pilot bearing.

i was reading some posts that some people were having problems with the roller bearing seizing up to the input shaft???

I’ve had the roller bearing in my Challenger for 17 years. Same clutch. I pound on it. No issues.
